Robert E. Bone is a Partner with Hoover Slovacek LLP, practicing in the commercial litigation section of the firm. Mr. Bone has concentrated his practice in the areas of commercial and residential real estate and landlord/tenant law and community association law. He has been involved in a variety of complex commercial litigation, including cases involving both residential and commercial landlord-tenant disputes, title-related matters including disputes concerning coverage of title insurance policies, as well as construction law disputes involving the construction of improvements on real property, and the assertion of mechanic's and materialmen’s liens.

Mr. Bone has been a practicing mediator since 1996. Mr. Bone’s mediation practice has generally received its mediation assignments from the Harris County Civil Courts at Law, which has meant that he has mediated a wide expanse of different civil disputes, including but not limited to construction issues, personal injury disputes and collection lawsuits, as well as a variety of contract-related civil disputes.

Mr. Bone has been a frequent speaker at various landlord/tenant seminars, and has also served as a Special Commissioner in an eminent domain proceeding.
