Jonathan H. Clark is an attorney and senior associate with the law firm of Hoover Slovacek, LLP.  He obtained a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Texas A&M University in 1992, where he participated in the University Honors Program, and received his law degree from Southern Methodist University School of Law in 1995.  He is Board Certified as a specialist in Commercial and Consumer Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.

After completing law school, Mr. Clark began his legal career as a litigator for the Harris County District Attorney's Office.  In that capacity, he had the opportunity to first-chair over seventy jury trials including multiple felony cases involving serious criminal offenses.  After leaving the District Attorney's Office, Mr. Clark joined a law firm specializing in collection of debts with a state-wide practice.  Here Mr. Clark had the opportunity to conduct numerous trials in multiple counties throughout the State of Texas.

Mr. Clark joined the law firm of Hoover Slovacek LLP in 2005 and has specialized in the property owners association practice both as a litigator and as a bankruptcy attorney.  Since joining the firm, he has had the opportunity to represent multiple property owners associations in all aspects of their business operations, including assessment collection, deed restriction enforcement, condemnation proceedings, tax proceedings, bankruptcy proceedings, governance, and multiple other litigation related matters.
