Jeremy Baker’s practice focuses on condemnation litigation, including inverse condemnation and regulatory takings, as well as the representation of multifamily properties and community associations in civil litigation matters. Prior to joining Hoover Slovacek LLP, Mr. Baker practiced exclusively in the field of eminent domain representing Harris County, Harris County Flood Control District, and the State of Texas in acquiring property through eminent domain. Mr. Baker concentrates his condemnation practice on the representation of property owners against takings by local and state authorities. Mr. Baker has represented landowners in cases involving the taking of property improved with office buildings, industrial buildings, restaurants, and vacant land.
