James T. Muska works as an associate in the Hoover Slovacek LLP litigation group.  Mr. Muska represents construction companies, landlords, and property owners' associations, as well as other business entities, in a multitude of disputes.  Prior to entering the practice of law, Mr. Muska worked as a homebuilder in Houston for eight years.  

Accomplishments:

  • Mr. Muska has represented landlords in over 200 trials, including more than a dozen jury trials.
  • Mr. Muska has successfully resolved over 240 disputes between property owners and their property owners' associations.

In 2007, Mr. Muska served as a Judicial Intern at the Fourteenth Court of Appeals in Justice Charles W. Seymore's Chambers.  He has spoken at several seminars on landlord-tenant issues and authored the legal article Truth and Consequences of Additional Insured Coverage, Construction Law Journal, Vol. 5 (Winter 2007).
